An Artist Amongst Us
One of our journeyman roofers, Kolten Grant, created this piece of art. It is a Gālā Hamsamala grizzly bear hamat'sa mask. This bear would be danced to signify a supernatural grizzly bear which Kolten's ancestor killed; gained its power and rights to use during the sacred red cedar bark ceremony (T'seka).
